**Job Summary**
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Fullstack Engineer to drive
our backend architecture. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of
professional experience with a proven ability to lead and mentor, specifically
designing and implementing high-performance, scalable solutions using Python
(FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and Docker. You will be a key player in building the
technical foundation for our next generation of AI-driven applications.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python and modern frameworks like FastAPI.
* Design and optimize relational database schemas, primarily with PostgreSQL.
* Implement containerized development environments and deployment pipelines using Docker.
* Leverage Redis for caching and building real-time data workflows.
* Collaborate across the full stack (backend and frontend) to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
* Contribute to the technical vision and help build scalable, AI-driven applications.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers as the engineering team grows.
* Automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS platform.

**Requirements**

* 5-10 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a management or technical leadership role.
* Proven expertise in Python for backend development, ideally with modern frameworks like FastAPI.
* Deep understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
* Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and managing development environments.
* Familiarity with Redis for caching and real-time data processing.
* Ability to work effectively across the full stack, contributing to both backend and frontend systems.
* Strong commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code in a collaborative setting.
* Experience with distributed systems, API design, and DevOps practices.

**Nice-to-Haves (AI/ML Focus)**

* Startup experience with a focus on balancing development velocity and technical debt.
* Knowledge of embedding vector search and similarity matching (e.g., sentence-transformers, OpenAI embeddings).
* Familiarity with LLM evaluation, prompt design, or fine-tuning workflows.
* Experience with Pinecone or other vector databases.
* Hands-on experience with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks.
* Passion for AI/ML applications and building tooling around language models.
* Understanding of scalable architectures for data-intensive or AI-driven systems.
* Background in online advertising or affiliate marketing.
